A Poem for a Thursday #143

I was going to feature a different Robert Frost poem but when I came across this one I changed my mind. It gives me the excuse to use another of the five million photos of roses I have right now. I like how simple and lighthearted this sounds.
The rose is a rose, And was always a rose. But the theory now goes That the apples's a rose, And the pear is, and so's The plum, I suppose. The dear only knows What will next prove a rose. You, of course, are a rose-- But were always a rose. The Rose Family Robert Frost

Both the photo and the poem brought a smile of delight to my face. 🙂
