I live in Pennsylvania now. It has been several months of decisions, chaos, boxes (so many boxes), and maybe a few tears. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Have I mentioned I hate moving?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Every single time, I insist I am never moving again. And yet, every single time I find myself packing up all our possessions and relocating. We don&#8217;t seem to believe in moving locally; we only do long-distance moves. I do see one more move in my future since we are renting a townhouse now and will eventually want to buy a house if the market ever cooperates. However, I am hoping we can make that a local move. We shall see. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">My family insists this move would have been easier if I didn&#8217;t have book-buying and thrifting addictions. I insist I don&#8217;t know what they are talking about while desperately trying to fit all my books on the shelves and all my clothes in the closet. I don&#8217;t have too many books and clothes. I simply have too few bookshelves and too small a closet. Right? Right?! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">So far, we like the area. All the necessities of life are around the corner. We are within easy driving distance of several interesting large cities. The Appalachian Trail runs through the town we live in. Our drive home to Connecticut to visit family is now 5 hours instead of 9.5. It isn&#8217;t home yet but it has potential. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">Today we are going to visit our new library and get library cards.
