{"id":429,"date":"2015-08-31T12:57:00","date_gmt":"2015-08-31T12:57:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.holdsuponhappiness.com\/index.php\/2015\/08\/31\/i-had-one-job\/"},"modified":"2020-10-28T18:01:17","modified_gmt":"2020-10-28T18:01:17","slug":"i-had-one-job","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.holdsuponhappiness.com\/index.php\/2015\/08\/31\/i-had-one-job\/","title":{"rendered":"I had one job"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a style=\"clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-plyXaUpfc6I\/VetynskGXUI\/AAAAAAAAA-s\/hyyY4gufojc\/s1600\/photo-1429051781835-9f2c0a9df6e4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.holdsuponhappiness.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/photo-1429051781835-9f2c0a9df6e4-1024x682.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"425\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a>Or, to be more accurate, I had one small list (in my head) of things to be done yesterday. \u00a0It was Sunday, not much was required of me. \u00a0I needed to:<\/p>\n<p>-Get some paperwork signed for my son&#8217;s school<br \/>\n-Buy my son safety glasses (he attends a technical high school and he needs them for shop)<br \/>\n-iron his shop shirts<br \/>\n-wash and vacuum the car<br \/>\n-make tacos for dinner since I promised them to my daughter<\/p>\n<p>I didn&#8217;t do any of it. \u00a0Now, before you picture me sitting on the couch happily enjoying a lazy Sunday, let&#8217;s make one thing clear. \u00a0I didn&#8217;t choose not to do any of it. \u00a0I forgot to do it all. \u00a0As in, literally did not remember one thing. Well, I did feed my family dinner, but they did not get tacos because I had forgotten to buy the taco shells. \u00a0Of course. \u00a0Which brings me to my question.
