This is a purely self-indulgent post. \u00a0I have five million more pictures of London just sitting on my computer and it seems a pity not to share them, or so it appears to me. \u00a0If I am being honest, I wish I was back in London right now and this gives me an excuse to dream a bit. \u00a0I hope you enjoy my completely random selection of photographs.<\/p>\n

The pictures above are all from Greenwich. \u00a0We love wandering through the park there and when you get to the top, up by the Greenwich Observatory, there are some great views of London. \u00a0There is also a nice Oxfam bookshop in Greenwich so I wasn’t book deprived during this outing which we all know is the most important consideration.<\/p>\n

St. Paul’s, the Millennium Bridge, five million professional photographers. \u00a0I felt like a fraud, snapped a few photos and moved on.<\/p>\n

And now more gardens, and flowers, and empty benches. \u00a0I seem to have a thing for photographing empty benches.<\/p>\n

Do you ever debate with yourself whether you would live in the city or the country if you had your choice? \u00a0I do all the time because I like to complicate my life with completely unnecessary conundrums. \u00a0I think the city is wonderful because of the cultural opportunities and the restaurants and the public transport and…the list just goes on and on. \u00a0But then the country, with the peace and the quiet and the lack of people. \u00a0I think I need a flat in London and a cozy cottage in the countryside and I will split my time between the two. \u00a0I’m so glad we have that settled.<\/p>\n
